MEET THE CHEF
Hi, I’m Ashley Netrilune
Culinary artist, recipe developer, and your guide to creating extraordinary meals at home
My Culinary Journey
Growing up in Portland, Oregon, I spent countless afternoons in my grandmother’s kitchen, where the aroma of fresh herbs and simmering sauces became the backdrop of my childhood. Those early experiences ignited a passion that would shape my entire life.
After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, I worked in some of San Francisco’s finest restaurants, learning from masters who taught me that cooking is equal parts technique, creativity, and heart. But I discovered my true calling wasn’t in professional kitchens—it was in helping home cooks unlock their potential.
Today, from my home in Seattle, I develop recipes that bring restaurant-quality dishes within reach of everyday cooks. My mission is simple: to prove that anyone can create extraordinary meals with the right guidance and a little confidence.
My Cooking Philosophy
Cooking should be an adventure, not a chore. Here’s what guides every recipe I create
Precision Matters
Every recipe is tested multiple times to ensure perfect results. I believe in clear instructions that leave no room for guesswork.
Flavor First
Technique serves taste. My recipes prioritize bold, memorable flavors that make every bite worth savoring.
Balance & Health
Delicious food can also nourish. I focus on wholesome ingredients without sacrificing the joy of eating.
Beyond the Kitchen
When I’m not developing recipes, you’ll find me exploring Seattle’s vibrant farmers markets with my husband Marcus and our energetic border collie, Pepper. I’m an avid runner who believes the best ideas come during morning jogs along Lake Washington.
I’m passionate about sustainable cooking and work closely with local farmers to highlight seasonal ingredients. My garden provides fresh herbs year-round, and I’m particularly proud of my heirloom tomato collection.
I believe the best meals are shared ones. Whether it’s a casual weeknight dinner or an elaborate celebration, food brings people together—and that’s the magic I want to help you create in your own home.
